Ongoing Prep

www.seatosea.org

I can't wait until I can get some pictures incorporated but
so far it's good I can record another day of training. I
was on the bike, did some resistance training and some
core work. I am also eating like the proverbial horse, not that
I need exercise to generate that but it's not helping me decrease
my intake.

Yesterday also started my centering prayer discipline.
"The Lord is gracious, I am blessed, and I will wait upon the Lord"

was my insight for the day. It is a good mantra. Today's was,
"I am with you always until the end of the age." This will be good

to remember as I face the challenge of preparing and maintaining
my focus and attitude.

Prayers for all of us as we continue our physical training and our fund
raising efforts. Shalom!!

What I'm Talking About

www.seatosea.com

Please check out this site to find out all the details about
my 4000 mile bike ride this summer.
It's what my first blog is referring to.

Don't know if I needed a new post but hey -
still getting the hang of this.

Anyway - Working to raise $10,000.00 to ride the full 4000 miles
as 211 riders and others work to raise awareness of and funds to
combat poverty.
ALL support is welcome - prayers, publicity, donations.
Go to the site - check on riders & scroll down to my name.
Thanks for your help.

Creating This Blog

Welcome to the world of technology our
daughter says. Not sure I feel welcome.
If I can figure this out, I will be able to
keep a diary/record of my trip preparations
and of the event itself.

Today I got back to working out after
being sick. I am not sure acutally how
many miles I can go. I can ride an hour
and I've been incorporating core strength
training along with resistance training.

Anyway - let's see if this works and
then hopefully it will work as needed.
